Why are hotels in Zambia very expensive and offer no deals . I stayed in a few hotels in Lusaka like the Protea Hotel in Zambia on Cairo road which was very expensive per day. I have stayed there for a couple of weeks and it offers just about a good basic standard. It is the cheapest hotel in Lusaka at that standard but offers no deals around the year.

While I was staying at Cairo road I really enjoyed my time there and I got to know most of the staff there. Breakfast is really nice and it has a small bar area. The hotel is all indoors and it hasn't got any out door space which makes it not the most ideal place to stay.
